First Energy SL Earns Triple ISO Accreditation

First Energy SL has been awarded three international management system certifications, confirming the standards we hold ourselves to on every project:

• ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
• ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System
• ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System

The accreditation reflects company policies on ethical and responsible practice, including equal workplace opportunities, women's empowerment, safety and social accountability. Day to day, the team is working towards zero waste by moving to digital documentation and a paperless office, encouraging carbon conscious travel, and planning a future shift to electric vehicles.

First Energy was founded in 2016 by electrical engineers Prabath Wickramasinghe and Asanka Tennakoon, who bring more than two decades of combined experience. They see strong environmental and social governance as central to the company's growth at home and abroad.

Our services cover design, supply and installation of solar PV systems, operation and maintenance, consultancy, project management and EPC, from domestic and commercial rooftops to utility scale ground mounted plants, along with wholesale supply of system components. In 2020 First Energy was awarded what was then the largest single solar rooftop project of its kind in the country, at 3.2 MW.
